The Domain

A family vineyard

Since generations...

A family property since the XIIIth century, the estate is currently managed by Alain de Welle.

It was in 1990, when Alain de Welle decided to succeed his grandfather, that he chose to become an independent winemaker, bottling the production at the estate and managing its marketing.

In 2025, Alain and Brigitte are joined by their earlier son, Clément. In 2026, the winery will be managed in family with the return of their late son, Pierre.

Sainte-Victoire-vignes

An exceptional terroir

Between Sainte Victoire and Monts Auréliens

Located near the village of Pourrières, the domain has a total surface area of 60 hectares including 30 hectares of vines. It is located in the heart of the Sainte Victoire vineyards, under the protected designation of origin "Côtes de Provence".

Clay-limestone soils with scree pebbles located at an altitude of 280 meters are favorable to quality vine-growing, and expresses the uniqueness of Provencal wineries.

100% organic

Since 1990

Concerned about preserving the fragile natural balance, the entire domain has been cultivated organically since 1990.

Chemical weeding is completely excluded, the soil is amended with organic compost, and treatments use the most natural products.

Winemaking

Vinification and aging of wines

The vinification and aging of the wines are carried out in stainless steel or concrete tanks, in the same spirit of respect for the product and its quality.

By adding only minimal amounts of sulfur, we do not use any chemicals. This is beneficial for the consumer's health, but can sometimes cause a slight deposit to form in the bottle. This does not affect the quality of the wine in any way.
